About the position
Support Quantum Equipment’s crane, rigging, heavy-haul, and machinery-moving crews with safe worksite setup, materials handling, equipment preparation, and general field duties.
Responsibilities
- Stage tools, equipment, blocking, cribbing, and materials for shop and field work.
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas and help keep access routes clear.
- Assist qualified crew members with loading, unloading, equipment setup, and machinery-relocation work as directed.
- Support spotter or tag-line duties only when trained, assigned, and under the direction of the crew lead.
- Inspect, clean, store, and secure tools and materials before transport.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and follow exclusion-zone, PPE, and site-safety requirements.
Qualifications
- A dependable, safety-minded approach and the ability to follow directions and communicate clearly.
- Comfort with physical outdoor work around trucks, trailers, cranes, and industrial equipment.
- Industrial, construction, crane, rigging, transport, or heavy-equipment experience is an asset.
- CSTS, First Aid, forklift, fall-protection, or other current safety tickets are assets; list all credentials in your application.
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are preferred for field assignments.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Schedule & location
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime when project needs require. Work is based at Quantum Equipment or one of the company’s 10 project sites across Calgary.
